Dogs and Cats are living longer today than they did in the past. This is wonderful news to all of us who share our hearts and homes with animals. Our senior pets require more frequent health check-ups than younger pets, as they are more vulnerable to health problems. Learn more about your senior pet's needs. |

Our full service laboratory allows us to run necessary tests on your pets health condition so that we can quickly respond to your pet’s urgent needs, pre-surgical tests, and routine check up work. These tests may include:
- Laboratory diagnostics: Blood analysis, urinalysis, fecal exams, cytology, biopsies and cultures.
- X-rays: Our radiology department uses high quality, fast-acting film which limits the amount of x-ray exposure for your pet while providing clear results. As part of our dedication to your pet’s health and well-being, all of our x-rays are also reviewed by board certified radiologists.
- Endoscopy: Our Endoscopy services allow our doctors to view parts of the gastrointestinal tract, especially important when looking for ingested foreign bodies, ulcers and tumors.
- Ultrasound: This involves the use of sound waves to look inside the body non-invasively.
With our partnership with Antech Laboratories, we are able to offer high quality, fast turnaround diagnostic tests with direct access to advice from clinical pathologists and other specialists. |

To maintain a sterile environment for all of our surgeries, we have a dedicated surgical suite. We use the latest equipment, supplies and monitoring systems including Isoflurane, sevoflurane and propofol anesthetics. Our patients are placed on IV fluids and monitored closely with ECG, pulse oximetry, capnography (CO2), blood pressure and respiratory monitors by a surgical nurse who is trained in anesthesia and pain management. This nurse will follow your pet through the entire surgery and recovery, ensuring compassionate comfort.

Brushing your dog or cat's teeth is the easiest way to prevent oral infections, tooth loss, bad breath, or even major medical problems associated with dental disease. However, sometimes your pet may need to undergo a complete dentistry treatment. Our state of the art dental department provides necessary prophylactic and periodontal treatments for dental disease. We use ultrasonic scaling, fluoride treatments and polishing; similar to human dentists. When necessary, digital dental x-rays are taken to help diagnose problems with a tooth, which can warrant treatments like periodontal implants, crown amputations, or if needed, extractions and oral surgery.
