This x-ray is of one of our feline patients named Alexandra. Alexandra was having some difficulty urinating and her owner noticed blood in her urine. On presentation Alexandra was straining to urinate and was acting painful. An abdominal x-ray revealed her problem – a single, large bladder stone. Alexandra had bladder surgery that night and a 3cm x 3cm bladder stone was removed. Alexandra is now pain free and urinating normally and is this month's Pet of the Month.
