Dr. Melanie Mielke had aspirations of becoming a veterinarian since age three, and since achieving her dream, she is convinced there is no better career on earth.

Melanie loves having the opportunity to bond with clients and their beloved "fur-children" while listening and sharing in their pets' unique behaviors and personalities.

Melanie offers comfort and compassion when helping an owner make healthcare decisions. She likes to make sure her clients have an understanding of all necessary information and options in order to make the best decision for them and their pets.

A former aerobics instructor, Melanie loves staying active by hiking, kick-boxing, dancing, weight training and yoga. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. Melanie shares her home with her husband Chris, a brindle Boxer named Andie, an English Bulldog named Gus, and their two cats Salty and Cheeto. The entire family is awaiting the addition of a two-legged due in March 2010.
