Dr. Martin Trerise knew from an early age that he wanted to pursue a career in the medical field.

He was drawn to veterinary medicine by his love of animals and his desire to help both animals and people. When an animal feels better, he know the person does as well, and he greatly enjoys being able to help them both.

Along with compassionate medical care, he is dedicated to the human-animal bond. Martin especially enjoys working with pets and their families to ensure the best relationship possible within the home. His genuine concern for each animal's individual needs helps him provide caring treatment for long term health and well being.

Martin shares his home with his wife Kristin, also a veterinarian; sons Joshua and Gabriel, two cats and two dogs. When he is away from the hospital, he takes great pleasure in spending time with his friends and family. He is active in church, enjoys advancing his knowledge in veterinary medicine, and is addicted to running, biking and racing in triathlons.
